Bastogne Blast Protection is a leader in the development of blast mitigation technology for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) and relocatable bomb blast and ballistics resistant structures. Blast mitigation is provided for armed services personnel, aircraft, tactical command centers, high value military assets, embassy staffs, government and non-government (NGO) facilities having high threat levels. Products range from hardened rigid wall relocatable shelters (RWRS) to blast mitigation retrofit walls and modular assemblies for buildings.

Management and military commanders concerned with missions being compromised by threats to personnel and critical or high value assets from hostile military action or terrorist threats must second guess the adversary. Many facilities in terrorist-prone regions do not have the luxury of large standoffs from public roadways.

Such facilities are subject to devastation from an IED or vehicle bomb blast at short standoff distances. Proactive Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection of personnel and critical assets is the responsibility of managers and military commanders. It is the mission of Bastogne Blast Protection to meet these needs for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) blast mitigation.

Military Products Bastogne Blast Protection produces Hardened Relocatable Shelters (HRS) for forward tactical areas, Container Retrofit Systems (CRS) for converting unused ISO shipping containers into ...

... military billets, tactical command centers, and field hospitals, and Blast Curtain Walls (BCW) for new buildings or retrofitting existing buildings for embassies or other government or non-government entities in terrorist-threatened areas. Thin-walled bomb blast products, employing unique, patent pending technology, resist large bomb blasts at short standoff distances, hostile ground fire, and the impacts of fragments from shells, grenades, or other explosions. Hardened walls consist of honeycombed, cellular light gauge steel walls filled with in-situ sand or cement/sand mixtures in-theater.

Blast Mitigation Bastogne Blast Protection blast mitigation products and technology have been evaluated by professional engineers and subjected to terminal ballistics evaluation. Full sized prototype products have also been evaluated by full arena blast testing and full scale vacuum chamber tests to determine resistance to blast pressures.
Product Evaluation Bastogne's blast wall technology underwent laboratory testing by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Unclassified reports on evaluation results are available upon written request to Bastogne Blast Protection.

Classified blast and ordnance resistance capabilities of Bastogne's expeditionary tactical shelters and bomb blast mitigation walls are available for military and government entities and contractors having appropriate security clearances.
