Bastogne Blast Protection has developed several Anti-Terrorism/Force
Protection (AT/FP) blast mitigation products based on the technology
disclosed in U. S. Provisional Patent Application No. 60/879,756 for
Blast Proof Shelter, filed January 10, 2007¹,
and other patents pending. Bastogne has conducted full arena blast
tests and in-house ballistics tests on several products. Bastogne
displayed and demonstrated Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP)
products at the 2007 and 2009 Force Protection Equipment Demonstrations
(FPED) at Stafford, VA and the U. S. Marine
Corps base at Quantico, VA. Valuable feedback was received from attendees
who visited Bastogne’s booths and demonstrations as to enhanced
protection requirements and additional military applications.
